titleOfInvention | Photochromiccontact lens |
abstract | The present invention relates to a photochromic contact lens having color changes of lens by light, comprising: a first lens layer which is ultraviolet (UV) hardened due to a coating with lens material; a photochromic layer including light base material; and a second lens layer including silicone hydrogel. According to the present invention, light and shade are adjusted in accordance with light intensity, glaring is able to be prevented such that eye fatigue is able to be reduced, and the lens is configured with a 3-layer structure such that a leakage of dye in the lens is able to be prevented. In addition, the photochromic contact lens has a similar effect with sunglasses by having a structure covering not only a pupil, but also an entire cornea. |
