abstract |
The present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition and a food composition for inhibiting the metastasis of glioblastoma comprising protopanaxadiol (PPD) or compound-K, which is a ginsenoside compound of panaxadiols, and an effective component. Ginsenoside C-L or PPD provided in the present invention can inhibit the adhesion of cells of glioblastoma, can induce anoikis, and shows cytotoxicity against the cells of glioblastoma, and therefore can be widely utilized in effective treatments for patients with glioblastoma by performing the treatment and the inhibition of the metastasis of glioblastoma at the same time. |
