titleOfInvention Devices, Systems And Methods For Detecting Particles
abstract The particle detector includes a housing, a light source, and an optoelectronic material. The housing includes a sample inlet and a sample outlet, and surrounds the detection cavity. The light source directs particles of the sample fluid flowing in the detection cavity along the longitudinal axis. The optoelectronic material surrounds at least a portion of the detection cavity and receives measurement light propagating from the particles in a plurality of measurement light paths angled with respect to the longitudinal axis. The particle detector can be used to measure light emitted and / or scattered light due to spontaneous fluorescence. The sampled fluid may include aerosols, bio-aerosols, and liquids.
