titleOfInvention manufacturing method of polylacticacid micro-beads
abstract The present invention relates to a method for producing a micro-bead by using polylactic acid which is an environmentally-friendly biodegradable polymer. The method comprises the steps of: producing a mixed solution by dissolving polylactic acid in a commercial first solvent with respect to polylactic acid; a bead producing step of inducing the formation of a bead by supplying the mixed solution to a second solvent which is non-commercial with respect to the polylactic acid and is commercial with respect to the first solvent; a bead separating step of separating the bead from the mixed solution in which the formation of a bead is induced; and a washing and drying step of washing and drying the separated bead. Accordingly, the micro-bead of the present invention can be used as a substitution of a conventional plastic micro-bead which is not decomposed well. Thus, an environmentally-friendly and bio-friendly product can be provided. Through a simple method using a difference in solubility with respect to polylactic acid, a polylactic acid micro-bead can be produced. According to a concentration difference of a mixed solution or a drying method, the size and the density of the micro-bead can be easily controlled, and the micro-bead is expected to be utilized in supplementing functions of various products.
