Kit for producing composite semi-finished products comprising reversibly crosslinked polymer emulsions |
abstract |
The present invention is particularly directed to emulsion polymers that crosslink in-situ using the Hetero-Diels-Alder (HDA) mechanism. The crosslinked polymer can then be totally or partially crosslinked through thermal processing, for example as a complex matrix, through a retro-Diels-Alder reaction or a retro-hetero-Diels-Alder reaction, . A storage-stable prepreg for the composite can thus be provided. However, other materials having thermosetting properties at the use temperature but having thermoplastic processing properties at higher temperatures can also be implemented in this manner. |
