The present invention relates to a thermoplastic resin. More specifically, the present invention relates to a seed-shell structure thermoplastic resin, a method for producing the same, and a thermoplastic resin composition including the same, wherein the seed-shell structure thermoplastic resin comprises a shell emulsified and polymerized by including a fatty acid-based emulsifier in which an average carbon number of a chain is 16.8 or higher. According to the present invention, if a fatty acid-based emulsifier having a predetermined or higher carbon number is included in an emulsifier when the shell of the thermoplastic resin including a seed-shell structure is polymerized, the quantity of gas generated in a high temperature extruding and ejecting step is reduced, and the surface gloss and definition of a resin composition are improved. Also, the thermoplastic resin has excellent latex stability and excellent specimen colors. |
