abstract |
The present invention relates to an inflammation-related bio marker for confirming exposure to diesel exhaust particles which are one of micro-particles exposed in an environment, and to a confirming method using the same. In particular, the present invention relates to an inflammation-related biomarker having gene expression increasing or decreasing by exposure to diesel exhaust particles, and to a method for confirming exposure specific to diesel exhaust particles by using the same. The biomarker of the present invention can be useful in monitoring and determining contamination of diesel exhaust particles in an environment sample by using inflammation-related genes sorted through a DNA microarray chip as a biomarker, and can be used as a tool for identifying a toxic action mechanism specifically caused by diesel exhaust particles. |
