titleOfInvention Kit and method for staining acid phosphatase in tissue samples
abstract Disclosed is a kit for detecting acid phosphatase in tissue specimens, including a buffer solution, a substrate solution, a reaction solution, and a first staining solution and a second staining solution. Also, disclosed is a method for detecting acid phosphatase using the same. According to the present invention, the kit and the method enable the detection of acid phosphatase even from a tissue treated with formalin, without the disruption of cells or tissues, thereby making it possible to observe the presence and positions of cells expressing acid phosphatase in a tissue level. In addition, the kit and the method also ensure a qualitative analysis as well as a quantitative analysis for counting the number of cells, thereby being useful as an investigational tool.
