Composition and method to alleviate joint pain using low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and astaxanthin |
abstract |
The dietary supplement composition is formulated as a therapeutic dose to treat and alleviate the symptoms of joint pain. The composition comprises a pro-inflammatory low molecular weight microbial fermented sodium hyaluronate fraction and astaxanthin having a molecular weight of 0.5 to 300 kilodaltons (kDa) in an oral formulation. The astaxanthin can be derived from natural or synthetic esters or synthetic diols. The composition may comprise a mixture of cartilage and salt and boron. |
