abstract The present invention provides a battery comprising: at least two plate-shaped battery cells arranged in a plane so that electrode terminals face each other; A pack frame including two or more battery cell receivers enclosing an outer circumferential surface of the battery cell in a state that the upper and lower surfaces of the planar arrayed plate-shaped battery cells are open; A protective circuit module (PCM) electrically connected to mutually facing electrode terminals of the battery cells and controlling operation of the battery pack; A PCM mounting part formed at a site where electrode terminals face each other in a pack frame while matching the flatness of the PCM; And a label wrapping the battery cells, the pack frame and the PCM, wherein the PCM has safety elements mounted on a printed circuit board (PCB) on which a circuit is printed on a board of an electrically insulating material Wherein the PCM is mounted such that one surface of the PCM protruding from the safety elements faces the inner surface of the PCM mounting portion.
