abstract |
The present invention provides an anisotropic optical film which has a high linear transmittance in the non-scattering region and has a wide diffusion region in the MD and TD directions, thereby solving the problem of a sudden change in brightness or generation of glare . In an anisotropic optical film in which two or more anisotropic light-diffusing layers whose linear transmittances vary depending on an incident light angle are laminated, each of the anisotropic light-diffusing layers has a matrix region and a plurality of columnar regions having different refractive indexes from the matrix region (A) and anisotropic light-diffusing layer (b) having different aspect ratios of the minor axis and the major axis in the cross section perpendicular to the alignment direction of the columnar region as the anisotropic light-diffusing layer, (a) has an aspect ratio of less than 2, and an aspect ratio of a major axis and a minor axis of the columnar region of the anisotropic light diffusion layer (b) is in a range of 2 or more and 20 or less. |
