By having the 4-methoxy-pyrrole derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof is an excellent proton pump inhibitory activity, the above damage-inhibitory activity, and defensive factors, as well as to have enhanced effects, excellent Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) bacteria elimination activity, Gastric ulcer, gastritis, reflux esophagitis, or gastrointestinal tract injury caused by Helicobacter pylori ( H. pylori ). Moreover, the 4-methoxypyrrole derivative or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof has an inhibitory action on GPCR and is useful for the prevention and treatment of 5-HT receptor or muscarinic acetylcholine receptor mediated diseases.
