The present invention relates to systems and methods for solid arbitrary shaped fabrication, particularly selective laser sintering, as well as various articles made therefrom, and systems and methods utilize certain thermoplastic polyurethanes that are particularly suitable for such processes. Useful thermoplastic polyurethanes are derived from a polyisocyanate component, (b) a polyol component, and (c) any chain extender component, and the resulting thermoplastic polyurethanes have a melt enthalpy of at least 5.5 J / g, (Tm: Tc) of 20 to 75 degrees and Tm (Tm: Tc) is the difference between Tm (melting temperature) and Tc. |
