abstract | TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a nano-carrier for increasing the skin transmission efficiency of sitosterol or a derivative thereof and a composition for external application for skin containing the same. According to the present invention, a negatively charged surface-modified nano-carrier can encapsulate sitosterol or its derivatives and deliver it to the skin with high efficiency. Accordingly, the composition for external application for skin of the present invention can be utilized as pharmaceuticals including functional cosmetics for hair loss prevention and hair growth improvement, and the nano carrier can be usefully used for the development of formulations for delivering cosmetics and pharmaceuticals. |
