Process for pretreating reclaimed cotton fibres to be used in the production of moulded bodies from regenerated cellulose |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for pretreatment of recycled cotton fibers for use in the production of molded articles from recycled cellulose, comprising the steps of: removing recycled cotton fiber or its formed pulp metal removal stage and an oxidative bleaching stage, ≪ / RTI > The recycled cotton fibers treated according to the described process can be used either alone as a raw material for the production of shaped bodies from regenerated cellulose or as a blend with conventional soluble pulp. The present method enables technically smooth, safe and economically feasible spinning through a viscose or lyer cell process, thus providing an efficient recycling path for an anonymous waste material. |
