The present invention relates to a lithium-nickel-manganese-cobalt oxide (hereinafter referred to as 'NCM') having a layered structure and a lithium metal oxide having a spinel structure coated on the NCM surface and a lithium secondary battery manufactured using the same . According to the present invention, by including the cathode active material, the cyclic characteristics of the lithium secondary battery can be improved upon charging / discharging at a high voltage (> 4.3V). |
