Novel Turn-On Probe Conjugates with Both Acidic and Basic pH-Reactivity and Uses Thereof |
abstract |
The present invention relates to novel turn-on probe conjugates for enzyme assays and uses thereof. The probe conjugates of the present invention exhibit higher fluorescence / emission signals in both acidic pH (e.g., pH 4 to pH 6) and basic pH (e.g., pH 8 to pH 10), as compared to signals at neutral pH. Accordingly, the probe conjugate of the present invention can detect the presence or absence of a pH-changing enzyme (for example, beta-lactamase such as penicillinase or adenosine diamine) or a drug-resistant bacterium containing the same, And can be detected efficiently. Therefore, the composition comprising the probe conjugate of the present invention not only provides an assay system for pH-changing enzymes, but also can be effectively used for the detection of infectious diseases caused by drug-resistant bacteria including the enzyme have. |
