The present invention provides a light emitting device comprising at least one light emitting layer between an anode and a cathode, wherein the light emitting layer comprises a host and a phosphorescent dopant, wherein the host is composed of a plurality of host compounds, Wherein the host compound has a specific bivalent carbazole derivative containing aryl and the second host compound has a specific carbazole derivative containing nitrogen containing heteroaryl. According to the present invention, an organic electroluminescent device having a high efficiency and a long life can be provided by using a plurality of kinds of hosts in comparison with a conventional device using one kind of host. |
