The present invention relates to a method for selectively producing N, N'-substituted urea by reacting an amine compound with carbon dioxide in the presence of an ionic catalyst containing a nitrogen-containing organic cation chemically immobilized on a polymer resin carrier and an anion thereof and a method . All of the substituted ureas prepared in the present invention can be easily converted to isocyanate via carbamate, and the isocyanate can be used as an important precursor compound which can be converted to a polyurethane through reaction with a polyol. On the other hand, the ionic liquid-based catalyst fixed on the polymer resin carrier in the present invention has an additional advantage of being economical because it can be reused many times. |
