The present invention relates to a hydrocracking catalyst for preparing a light aromatic hydrocarbon in which a xylene content is increased among BTX from a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon, a method of preparing the same, and a method of preparing a light aromatic hydrocarbon high in xylene by using the same. According to various embodiments of the present invention, a hydrocracking catalyst of a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon that is a hydrocracking catalyst suppressing reconversion of tetralin to naphthalene and hydrogenation to decalin may achieve an effect of obtaining xylene among light aromatic hydrocarbons containing BTX form tetralin and alkyl-tetralin obtained via hydrogenation in the presence of a catalyst of a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon such as naphthalene, alkyl-naphthalene contained in a by-product of an oil refining and a petrochemical process. |
