The present invention relates to a process for producing a methacrylic acid ester in which a methacrylic acid ester is produced by an ester exchange reaction while air-blowing an alkyl methacrylate ester and an alcohol under a catalyst represented by the following formula (1). [Chemical Formula 1] Ti (BuO) n (HQ) 4-n (n = 1, 2, 3) The production method of the methacrylic acid ester of the present invention can prevent the formation of polymer in the production of the methacrylic acid ester and increase the yield without using a separate polymerization inhibitor. |
