Chitosan nanoparticle complex for atherosclerosis diagnosis, preparation method thereof and contrast media composition comprising the same |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a chitosan nanoparticle complex for the diagnosis of atherosclerosis, a method for producing the same, and a contrast agent composition containing the same. The chitosan nanoparticle complex according to the present invention can target and recognize inflammatory macrophages present in atherosclerotic plaque. It is also possible to evaluate the degree of inflammation present in the arteriosclerotic plaque only by targeting the macrophages to the chitosan nanoparticle complex. Therefore, when the chitosan nanoparticle complex according to the present invention is used as a contrast agent, it is possible to diagnose arteriosclerosis, and to diagnose the progress of arteriosclerosis through the degree of inflammation even before the stenosis due to arteriosclerosis And it becomes possible to diagnose or prevent various complications due to arteriosclerosis early. |
