titleOfInvention Composition for inhibiting quorum sensing comprising Citrus junos extact as effective component
abstract The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting quorum sensing, comprising a Citrus junos extract. The Citrus junos extract according to the present invention has no toxicity, has an activity of inhibiting quorum sensing, which inhibits communication between microorganisms, thereby effectively inhibiting propagation of microorganism, formation of a biofilm, etc. Therefore, the composition of the present invention can be variously used in various types of appliances, medical instruments or the like which are necessary to block inflammation by microorganisms, or to prevent formation of a biofilm, and can be used as an anti-bacterial agent, a medicine for diseases developed by microorganisms, or a feed additive.
