abstract |
The present invention relates to a composition capable of detecting a specific single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker having a significant correlation with a subtype of thyroid cancer, and a method of classifying subtypes of thyroid cancer using the same. The combination of type-specific SNP markers provides a convenient and accurate way to classify / distinguish thyroid cancer from papillary or follicular carcinoma, and is useful for determining the operation, scope, and post-operative management of thyroid cancer . |
