titleOfInvention | Composition comprising SMOC1-derived EC Peptide for Promoting Osteoblast Differentiation and the use Thereof |
abstract | The present invention relates to a composition for promoting osteoblast differentiation promotion comprising a polypeptide consisting of an EC (extracellular calcium binding) domain fragment of SMOC1 and a use thereof, and more particularly to a composition for promoting osteoblast differentiation promoted by osteoblasts comprising the 399-414 amino acid region of SMOC1 as an active ingredient To a composition for promoting cell differentiation and a use thereof. A method for promoting the differentiation of stem cells into osteoblasts including a step of treating a stem cell with a polypeptide consisting of an EC domain fragment of SMOC1 and a method for producing a scaffold and an artificial bone comprising a polypeptide consisting of an EC domain fragment of SMOC1 . Since the polypeptide consisting of the EC domain fragment of SMOC1 of the present invention has an effect of promoting the differentiation of osteoblasts, tissue engineering application for bone regeneration is possible by using it. Also, it can be usefully used as a growth promoting additive for the treatment of bone formation-related diseases and bone regeneration. |
