Methods and materials using signaling probes |
abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for isolating a cell or generating a cell line using a signal probe that generates a signal when the target sequence is hybridized with the target sequence. Other methods of using signal probes include methods of quantifying RNA expression levels, identifying genetic recombination in living cells, and providing transgenic animals using isolated cells. The present invention also provides a protease probe. The present invention also provides a signal probe and a protease probe that form a stem-loop structure, a three-armed junction structure, and a dumbbell structure. |
