abstract The present invention relates to a composition for stabilizing physiologically active TNFα binding protein. More particularly, the present invention relates to a composition for stabilizing protein comprising a basic amino acid and saccharide and/or ammonium salt, a pharmaceutical formulation comprising the same, and a method for stabilizing TNFα binding protein. The formulation using a basic amino acid and saccharide and/or ammonium salt according to the present invention effectively inhibits aggregation, denaturation and oxidation of TNFα binding protein for use in treatment of various diseases, such as an anti TNF-alpha antibody, and thus allows long-term preservation and storage of protein. Therefore, the formulation can be used widely in the medical field using TNFα binding protein, such as the anti TNF-alpha antibody.
