abstract The present invention relates to a method and system for the production of resinous mycorrhagic fungi (AMF). More specifically, the invention disclosed herein relates to a method and system for continuous in vitro culture of resinous mycorrhizal fungi, preferably comprising a collection and / or subculturing step. Moreover, the present invention relates to culture conditions suitable for such continuous culture methods and systems. Another aspect of the present invention is an aseptic inoculum comprising AMF-colonized root material and other propagation material such as AMF spores. Yet another aspect of the present invention relates to the use of AMF-colonized root material for the continuous production of a resinous mycorrhagic fungal material in a liquid culture medium.
