abstract |
An apparatus for introducing a biopsy device into a tissue of a patient includes a cannula, a guide device, a support structure, and a locking assembly. At least a portion of the biopsy device is insertable with a cannula. The guide device includes at least one guide hole. At least one guide hole is configured to receive the cannula. The support structure is configured to position the guide device relative to the patient ' s chest. The locking assembly includes a locking arm configured to engage the cannula to limit the moveable movement of the cannula within the guide hole of the guide device. |
