abstract |
A fluorosilicone rubber composition is provided. The composition comprises (A) 100 parts by weight of a fluorosilicone rubber compound, (B) 0.1 to 10 parts by weight of activated carbon at a pH of 9 or less, and (C) a catalytic amount of a curing catalyst. The fluorosilicone rubber compositions of the present invention can be used to produce molded articles of fluorosilicone rubber (cured articles) that are less likely to experience loss of physical properties when contacted with amine antidegradants. Such fluorosilicone rubber molded articles are suitable for use in applications such as rubber parts for the vicinity of a transport engine. |
