abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for adjusting sizes of a sol-gel silica particles using an organic solvent and silica sol with particle sizes adjusted through the same. More particularly, the method of the present invention comprises the steps of: adjusting polarity of a mixed solvent by mixing at least two organic solvents; mixing a silane mixture prepared by adding alkoxysilane to the mixed solvent; and synthesizing silica sol by adding a water-based mixture to the silane mixture. In the present invention, particle sizes of silica nanoparticles can be adjusted by adjusting polarity of an organic solvent and, particularly, of a non-polar organic solvent, and the solubility of alkoxysilane and a catalyst can be enhanced by including a non-alcohol-based organic solvent. |
