abstract The present invention relates to a method for efficiently synthesizing an indene derivative through a cascade reaction, and more particularly, to a method for efficiently synthesizing an indene derivative through a cascade reaction, which comprises reacting a 1H-indene-3-carboxamides and a 1H- A new one-pk cascade approach to the synthesis of 1H-indene-3-carboxylate derivatives has been developed. Aliphatic or aromatic primary amines and aliphatic alcohols or phenol derivatives with various aromatic and heteroaromatic aldehydes have been used as nucleophilic components. The non-catalytic multi-component reaction allows the synthesis of various functionalized indene derivatives, which can be applied to the synthesis of natural products and pharmaceuticals.
