abstract |
The present invention relates to a metal complex represented by the following general formula (1). ≪ Formula 1 > In this formula, Cy is a cyclopentadienyl-type ligand; M is a Group 4 metal; A is an amidine-containing ligand moiety represented by the formula (2); (2) Wherein the amidine-containing ligand is covalently bonded to the metal M via an imine nitrogen atom, Sub1 is a substituent comprising a Group 14 atom, Sub1 is bonded to an imine carbon atom through the atom, Sub2 is a Group 15 heteroatom , Wherein said heteroatom connects Sub2 to an imine carbon atom; X is an allyl borate ligand derived from conjugated diene ligand D and borane B; L is a neutral Lewis base ligand, wherein the number "n" of metal ligands is in a range that meets the 1 to 18-electron rule. |
