abstract |
The processes and systems disclosed herein enable the use of CO2 to enable processing of the heavy oil fraction. A significant reduction in the energy required to keep the fuel in the liquid state has been achieved. Improved combustion plant efficiency and reduced CO 2 emissions are possible due to energy reduction from the residue treatment system disclosed herein. Residue treatment systems are useful in refinery, power generation plants and other processes that use heavy oil residues as feedstock. |
