abstract |
A method is provided for reducing the sodium content of different carriers which may have different physical properties as well as varying the level of sodium. The method of reducing the sodium content from the surface, the lower surface as well as the binding layer of the carrier comprises contacting the carrier with water. The cleaning solution is recovered from the contact. The cleaning solution comprises sodium leached from the support. The sodium content in the cleaning solution is then measured. The contacting, recovery and measurement are repeated until a constant state in the sodium content is achieved. |
