abstract |
The present invention relates to a process for the formation of solid epoxy-imidazole catalysts comprising contacting an imidazole, an amine, and at least one epoxy resin without solvent addition to form a solid epoxy-imidazoline. In another aspect, the embodiments described herein relate to an epoxy-imidazole catalyst and a method of forming a curable composition, a curable composition, and a method of forming a thermosetting resin using an epoxy-imidazole catalyst formed without addition of a solvent. |
