Disclosed herein is a novel use of a peptide comprising SEQ ID NO: 1, a peptide having 80% or more sequence homology with the above peptide sequence, or a peptide thereof. Specifically, the use of said peptide for inhibiting myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) is disclosed. Inhibition of MDSC can solve the problem of suppression of immune response by MDSC. The peptides can be used in combination with other anticancer agents and adjuvants to effectively inhibit MDSC, thereby alleviating, treating or preventing diseases or conditions associated with MDSC. In addition, vaccines, particularly cancer vaccines, anti-cancer kits, or anticancer methods that do not have side effects associated with MDSC can be provided. |
