The present invention relates to a method for producing 3-(3-diisopropylamino-1-phenylpropyl)-4-hydroxy benzenemethanol, which is an intermediate product useful for producing fesoterodine, by using ethyl benzoylacetate as a starting material. The producing method according to the present invention has short reaction steps, wherein the reaction is carried out under a mild condition. In addition, the method can be usefully applied to fields having an industrial scale due to having a high yield. |
