The method includes adhering a plurality of pads along a plurality of tapered fingers and bonding the proximal ends of the plurality of tapered fingers to corresponding recesses in the base. The assembled pads, tapered fingers, and base are positioned on the fixture such that the top surfaces of the plurality of pads rest on the top surface of the fixture until the adhesive is cured at room temperature.
