abstract | The present invention relates to a food composition containing a natural plant-derived extract having antioxidant and anti-obesity activity as an active ingredient, and a health functional food. More specifically, the present invention relates to a food composition and a health functional food, Wherein the extract is at least one selected from the group consisting of corn oil, corn oil, and corn oil. The extract of the present invention is excellent in DPPH radical, nitrite and ABTS cation scavenging activity, but also has excellent antioxidative enzymes such as superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), ascorbate peroxidase APX) and peroxidase (POD) can be increased. Therefore, a composition containing them as an active ingredient can be usefully used as a functional food composition capable of exhibiting an antioxidative effect. In addition, the health functional foods prepared using these food compositions can prevent or improve oxidative stress diseases. |
