abstract |
The apparatus configured to dispense the medicament may comprise a lower housing including a housing latch. The apparatus may further include a needle guard movable relative to the lower housing along a first direction from a first position to a second position to expose the needle, and an upper housing supported against the lower housing. The upper housing may be configured to move with respect to the lower housing along a second direction from a pre-use position to a dispense position. The housing latch may releasably interfere with the upper housing to prevent the upper housing from moving towards the dispense position when the upper housing is in the pre-use position, and the interference is removed by movement of the needle guard toward the second position Allowing the upper housing to move toward the second position. |
