abstract | According to an embodiment of the present invention, an internal helical gear cutting device including a magnetostrictive oscillator comprises: a main shaft operated by receiving a driving force from the outside; a cutting tool connected to a lowermost part of the main shaft, and cutting an internal helical gear; a magnetostrictive oscillator unit installed between the main shaft and the cutting tool, generating mechanical fine vibration in a shaft direction caused by magnetic energy; and an optical sensor mounted on a lower side of the cutting tool, measuring a displacement value in accordance to a vertical vibration of the cutting tool. According to the present invention, the internal helical gear cutting device including the magnetostrictive oscillator can be cut more accurately than an existing internal helical gear cutting device, and can control the displacement value of the vertical vibration in an optimal state by including an optical sensor on the lower side of the cutting tool, measuring the displacement value in accordance to the vertical vibration of the cutting tool. Also, the internal helical gear enables frequency conversion and does not require a resonance range; thus having a simple structure and being stably operated. |
