titleOfInvention Method for the isolation for mammalian stem cells and uses thereof
abstract The present invention relates to the field of stem cell biology, especially the intrinsic (bona fide ) mammalian stem cells and the use of the resulting stem cells. Human glioblastomas (hGBMs) are currently known to contain small subunits of cells with the defining characteristics of somatic stem cell (SC) cells and the ability to build, expand and perpetuate these tumors. These are defined stem cell type tumor-derived cells (TPC). As a main factor to be discussed in the development of new therapies, the TPC pointed to a typical change in the interpretation of hGBM physiology. It also suggests that studies of the regulatory mechanisms of normal neurogenesis may be directed at specific inhibitors of TPC.
