The present inventors have found that EGR 1 is significantly increased in the differentiation of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells into hepatocytes, and that EGR 1 is a major factor controlling the metastatic process of mesenchymal stem cells and epithelial cells Thereby providing a composition and prediction method for predicting hepatocyte differentiation from stem cells and providing a method of regulating the transfer process between mesenchymal stem cells and epithelial cells.
