abstract |
The present invention relates to RNA interference (RNAi) agonists and the use of such RNAi agonists to treat age-related macular degeneration, and to pharmaceutical compositions containing the RNAi agonists of the present invention. RNAi agonists are DNA-induced RNA interference (ddRNAi) agonists having an expression cassette or construct for expressing intracellular (including in vivo) such agonists to inhibit, prevent or reduce the expression of AMD- Lt; / RTI > molecule). Preferably the AMD-associated gene is associated with wet AMD. |
