abstract The present invention relates to methods and compositions for reducing the deposition of pitch and sticky in a papermaking process. The method comprises introducing an anionic glycerol-based polymer into the papermaking process. These anionic polymers prevent the pitch and sticky from depositing and aggregating in the papermaking process.
