| abstract |
Discloses an absorbent article that can provide comfort to a wearer while maintaining dryness and preventing fluid leakage. The absorbent article includes a multi-layered topsheet comprising a first topsheet layer having apertures disposed over the second topsheet layer. The first and second topsheet layers are, in one embodiment, joined together by a seal that generally corresponds to the shape of the holes overlapping the second topsheet layer. Further, the first sub-bottom sheet layer is located below the multi-layer top sheet and has a hole smaller than the hole of the first bottom sheet layer. This combination of one hole under another hole provides an absorbent article that can maintain a high level of dryness and prevent the outflow of body fluids due to the funnel effect and ability to match the body of the wearer. |
