abstract |
The present invention relates to a mutant strain of arginine or glutamine production including a malic enzyme or a lactate dehydrogenase, and a method for producing the same. According to the present invention, by inactivating a malic acid enzyme or a lactate dehydrogenase, it is possible to provide a mutant having an improved arginine or glutamine production ability and yield per unit without lowering the growth of an arginine or glutamine producing ability strain including a wild type or an activated malic acid enzyme or a lactate dehydrogenase A strain can be produced to produce arginine or glutamine. In addition, since the mutant strains of the present invention can be used to improve the yield and yield per unit of arginine or glutamine, there is an advantage in cost reduction when arginine or glutamine is used as a raw material. |
