abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for stably integrating a desired polynucleotide in a plant genome, comprising: transforming a plant material into a first vector comprising a nucleotide sequence encoding a TAL protein designed to recognize a target sequence; (i) a marker gene that is not operably linked to a promoter ("promoter-ablative marker cassette") comprising a sequence homologous to a target sequence; And (ii) transforming the plant material with a second vector comprising the desired polynucleotide; And identifying the transformed plant material in which the desired polynucleotide is stably integrated. |
