abstract The present invention relates to a fishing net used in a variety of fishing operations and aquaculture industry such as marine ranching, and more particularly to a fishing net which comprises 0.2 to 4.0% by weight of carbon black and has a monofilament fineness of 20 to 40 denier . The polyester base yarn for fishing nets of the present invention provides excellent mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, shape stability, and the like for a long time when the fishing nets for marine ranches are improved.
